At Last, I've Been Legend Limed!

Picked it up last night, and traded in my 03 V6 Stang.
Wow, what a difference, in ride, handling, POWER etc.
I've been on jury duty for the last two days, so I didn't drive the '06 today. I'm not leaving it parked around the courthouse at any time!!.
Here's a pic I took tonight when I got home. I'll add some more later.

I love the Legend Lime!!!
Originally I was going to go with Tungsten Gray, but after looking at a bunch of pics on TMS, it looked like it would have the same properties as my Shadow Gray 03. That is, outstanding in the full sunlight, but turning to just plain gray in the shade and in other low light conditions. After having seen Tungsten in person now, it is an outstanding color in the sun. In the shade, well........
I decided to change to LL as the first Mustang I drove was a Lime Gold '67 fastback with a 289 and auto . For a kid of 16 who's family car was a Corvair, I thought that the Mustang was a Rocket Ship.
Now, I have the Rocket Ship.
I went out tonight and got on it just a bit, and I believe that it feels as fast/faster than the '66 Vette with a 425 horse 427 that I had for while, but the Mustang is way more refined in every possible way. BTW, I do wish I had the Vette now, as I bought it in 1974 for $1200 (first gas crisis) We all know what they're going fo now.
In answer to the question, yes I did get the locking kit, just haven't had the time yet to put it on.

I have a 06 TG on order. My two favorite other colors are SS and LL. Every once and a while I see a pic like yours that makes me question my decision. I know some dont like that color, but I think its spectacular. I have seen one 06 LL on the LL registry with blades and it looked incredible.

Nice wheels, Stan!
Of course, I'm a little biased because your car looks a helluva lot like mine!
Glad to see you've joined the Legend Lime Registry. We're meeting in Las Vegas today through Sunday for Super Run 2005, a charity auto show. Several of us are going, including me with my basically "bone stock" LIME ponycar.
I like the photo of your car in the driveway. Definitely a trade up from your previous wheels, no slight intended on her predecessor...
Good luck and enjoy your new wheels, man! :drive: :banana2:
