Knight Rider: The Series
Not sure where the TV section of the forum is, or if this was already posted elsewhere. Looks like an S197 may be a weekly TV feature.

I love the authors comments. Not to start another Knight Rider debate, but I enjoyed the bad acting and predictable plot.

I thought I was the only one who remembered that short-lived show.
I'd say bring back the Dukes of Hazzard, but all the political correct BS would have that show boycotted in no-time.

I think people are much too critical in this day and age. Sure, the series is a bit on the cheesy side. So was the original, but it still inspired me as a kid. It's entertainment, folks. Just enjoy it!

You sure that's not an Autoblog April Fool's?

I already found it very ridiculous as a kid, but NOW it has a MUSTANG as main actor and **** am I going to watch this show: YES!!!
As you said: take as easy entertainment and don't forget to just enjoy watching a super-dooper pimped Stang a'la Pimp my Ride !
Where was that coffee maker again?

Geeze, people, lighten up. It's entertainment! Enjoy it for what it is: a show about a talking Mustang! How cool is that?
Hopefully it will inspire my son to get into Mustangs. (He's into Gundam mechs now)

Your right, people today feel like they aren't giving an "honest" review about something unless totally totally pick it apart and talk about how awful it is and how much it "sucks"...

At the worst of times - this POS series being one of them - TV series/audience relationships can be like interlocking neuroses; sort of like when the rocks in the writer/producers' heads fill the holes in the audience's.
Definitely ranked as one of the worst pilots I have ever seen - especially with so many good shows out there. I'll venture to guess it doesn't go more than a single season, if that.
No wonder GE is looking to dump NBC/Uni.

I actually read recently that NBC brough in a guy specifically as a 'show handler' to avoid the pitfall that they ran into with The Bionic Woman - they had decent buzz at the beginning and then the show slipped down into the ratings toilet because of lousy writing
If they actually hire someone who knows his stuff, this show could really be alot better - and I wouldn't mind seeing that S197 every week either.
