We may have made that specially for the commercial buy cutting a logo out of something else. I don't remember exactly. It was kind of a last-minute thought when we decided to add the keychain.

Let me ask a couple of other people who were there and see if I can get an exact answer for you guys.

It looks cool, but it also looks fragile. I wonder how long that tail would last.

Yep, that was made on-set from something else. We cut a logo out of another piece, polished it up and put a chain on it.
So you won't find that exact replica, but you should be able to find something close.

the one that I posted isn't the correct pony, though.... it was a cheap knock off and was probably made from pot metal anyways.... I wouldn't buy it. I'd sooner do what tark's guys did... cut one out of another logo

WOW. Wish I could do that but am computer novice and that is way over my head. I want to post a picture of my ride and don't even know how to do that.
Thanks

Looks to me like this may have even been the one they used.
Remember, he said they had to polish it.

I think it'd be a great product for someone to come out with.
Especially if they could be sneaky about they way they promote it, saying it's like the one in "the commercial."

From MaverickMLFD371 on the first page of this thread.

If you look around they are offered at other places.

Here is a necklace that has that pendant on it. You could always buy the necklace & then make a keychain by using the pendant. Of course it is a $19.00 necklace.

No, but it is all i can buy at work that related to the car... 90% of the things we sell relate to Jeep, the rest is domestic trucks from the big 3...

Also gatta hat in black w/ a black oval... kina fits in w/ an all black Mustang

Regarding the keychain...there were only two made at a cost of several hundred dollars each. Each of them were closely watched and protected from damage during the filming. Each time it was tossed from the main actor to the McQueen double and dropped there was a collective gasp from the crew since the keychains were made of light aluminum and if one or both were scratched or broken, heads would roll. I don't know where they went following the shoot. Most likely some crew member, the director, or agency person snagged them. Who knows, maybe they'll find their way to Ebay or get auctioned or raffled at a convention at some point. Or maybe Ford will realize there's a demand and start manufacturing them along with all the other after market products that are available for the '05 Mustang.

Cheers!
