A couple of times, while stuck behind four or five cars, we'd come around a corner into a straight away, by the time I got around the last car... ~100mph... I'm sure those people in their mini-vans were saying more than WOW. More like, "Holy F'n crap, what was that"?
I love being able to do that, and I hate people that drive exactly the speed limit and dont let you pass. BUUUUT if you flew by 5 cars at 100mph I doubt that WOW or what was that were there responces. It would be more along the lines where the language filter would kick in.

Well, I personally still look hard at older Mustangs, especially GT's. And, if the stang is modded nicely, and is unique, I'll definitely stare and give a friendly knod. Doesn't matter if it's a '94 or a '64-1/2. Sure, Cobras and Machs are rare and will always get attention, but a GT can easily attain the wow factor for many years, especially if the owner modifies it to stand out among the rest.

Its now been a year since i got my stang and i still love driving my car, but how many of you think the 05 Mustang GT is starting to lose its "new wow factor"?
Not to me it hasn't, several weeks ago I had noticed It was not getting as much attention as It did when it was new then within a week I had several people compliment me on my car.

One(a sonic carhop) assumed I was a saleperson at the local dealership and that it was a car from the lot. I told her actually, this is my car and its a year old today. Her response "It so clean, It looks new, you must wash it every day."

to be honest i am a FORD fan and i hate chevy

i also hate all foreign cars first..id rather see soemone buy a chevy then a nissan=p

Hate's a strong word dude. I never said I hated fords. I've just always had chevys. I'll tell you this, though. If GM would have stuck to their plans and built the 2007 Camaro I never would have bought the mustang.........even though I love it now.

I've only had mine almost 2 months now. I stare at it whenever I can and give it that last long look when I go to work. I don't get many stares with the top up,but when it's down there are a lot more stares. I wish I could preserve the new car smell though. That is one thing that I will always remember. The first two weeks and my whole garage smelled like it. Excuse me now while I weep softly

people get bored with anything over time. I am sure owning a Lambo looses its luster as well, probably more quickly then normal cars to their owners.

well honestly i hate foreign cars..people pump them up waaay too much

the 07 discontinumobile would have been nice to see on the road

but supporting american companies is important
imagine this country's economy without GM and ford..might consider moving to iraq=p

the mustang is aweseome always has and always will be

I'm surprised at how many mustangs I have (or haven't... as the case may be) here in St. Louis... I thought the roads would be flooded with em all over... But I only see a few familiar ones over and over in my neck of the woods... I don't get it?

The mid-west region has not been able to get as many 05/06 mustangs as other parts of the country. I never got my order pulled for an 05 GT and had to order an 06. Some of the local dealers in north-east missouri were buying from dealers in other parts of the country and having them trucked in.

I still look at one as it drives by..and I've got one. I still want to get (another) GT in a few years. Still a great looking car...not cheesy (which can happen overnight in the car design department)

I have only seen 1 Stang GT in the last year.....and that was at a mall 30 mins away.....
I see a light blue V6 in my area at times...
And my doctors nurse has a 05 V6 light blue....I think it looks ugly and hate the wheels...JohnnyT

My wife still won't drive it by herself, especially with the top down. She says she feels weird with all the attention she gets. I think it's her, but she says it's the car. I think they're both beautiful.

To those that don't have one (like me) there still is a wow, every time I see one.
