I just ordered a Tungsten 2006 Mustang GT at X-plan price. I got IUP, side air bags, upgraded 17 inch rims, wheel locks, and active anit-theft. The dealer doesn't know what the X-plan price is though. Do any of you have a round about idea?

Same thing but now wheel locks adn 18" fan blades, and only shaker 500(no upgrade).

Dealers MSRP $28935 my x-plan price $26,812 so subtract the 18" wheels think around $400 and add wheel locks around $50

From what I've heard, the '06 is just $250 more than the '05. So just option out an '05 and add $250 to the price, I guess.

Of course, if you order the 18" wheels, it'll be slightly inaccurate, though I believe they're around $800.

Pricing has been out for a couple weeks now so dealer should have been able to give you a price on the spot. If they put it in the computer as an x-plan order with your name, they would have a VOC [vehicle order confirmation] which shows MSRP, Invoice, and x-plan price. ithin 1-2 working days they will then receive a DORA [dealer order receipt acknowledgement] which shows the pricing.
On a Mustang the x-plan price is approximately $50-$100 under factory invoice.
You should be able to get the exact price from your salesperson.

My salesman just replied back and said that he hasn't placed the order yet and that there may be a problem with the color Tungsten. I am not sure what he meant by that. He also told me that he wouldn't get pricing until the factory releases them. He said that even though I told him about that VOC and DORA.

Cant imagine what the problem could be. I ordered my 06 Tungsten 2 weeks ago and got my VOC and DORA... no problems.

Venom, dealers have full pricing for 2006 Mustangs now, price level 615 currently, I think. Did you get a copy of your VOC?

With an x-plan order, watch what priority they give you. If they place you at priority 99 or something like that, you might never see your car. I'm not saying they WOULD do that. But it is something to look into.

I haven't heard anything about any commodities issues for 2006's. There shouldn't be any, since they're not building 'em yet!

It's on your VOC and DORA, but you said your dealer didn't place the order yet which means you won't get either of them. :notnice:

I ordered a 2006 Tungsten GT for stock 3 weeks ago and it came back clean.

xplan is actually above factory invoice but not much

second, since my dealer has the price does that mean he has the DORA?

If so I'm going to go sign something and put a deposit down, can I get a copy of this DORA from my dealer, he didn't tell me my priority number.

I just heard back from my salesman. He got back the VOC. It says that my Xplan price is $26,298.52. He also said that my priority is 13. Is that a good priority number?

Also, he told me that he had heard that Ford has gotten so many orders for the color Tungsten, that there might be a delay. That is the problem that he referred to earlier that I posted on here. Has anyone else heard of this? Will Ford make only so many of each color?

13 is a pretty good priority to have - unless they ordered all their stock vehicles with priority 10, 11 or 12. That is unlikely though, I would think.

If Ford is getting a ton of Tungsten orders, it could perhaps create a temporary commities issue with the paint supplier trying to keep up with demand. I would think it would only be a temporary problem, if it is in fact a problam at all.

This isn't good I just looked at my VOC and my Priority number is 99. I think I just going to go down to the dealer and ask them if they will change it.

Does the X-plan price that is on the VOC include the destination charge?

My 06 Mustang GT was ordered back on 05/28. I recieved the VOC with pricing on 06/02 after I went to the dealership and let them know the pricing was out (thanks TMS).

My VOC shows 06 Mustang GT Coupe Deluxe, Tungsten Grey (not silver), base invoice - $23,076

Active Anti-theft, IUP, 2 gal of gas, FDAF Assessment and Dest/Delivery charge - invoice = $24,718.84

My X-Plan price = $24,694.96 (includes FDAF Assessment and Dest/Delivery charge in price)

My dealership is a small one, so I plopped $500 down and got Priority 10 without even asking.

Then my X-plan price of $26,298 includes delivery charge. That is great news.

What is Tungsten Grey? I thought there was only Tungsten metallic. Am I mistaken?
