But don't forget they rated the antedeluvian Mach I ahead of several far newer and more sophisticated competitors in a recent comparison test.
How could you possibly misspell antediluvian!? Sometimes I have serious concerns over the state of our educational system.

I will as say that MT is better than C&D as well.
Generally, people probably prefer magazines which value that same things they do. Example: if I'm a weekend hot rodder, I'm probably not subscribing to Consumer Reports for their car reviews.

Every time I've picked up MT, though, it strikes me as poorly written, targeted at kids or at people satisfied with good photography and not much else - i.e. eye candy. Their "Car of the Year" choices show me they consistently look for different qualities in cars than I do, so I gave up on them.

Haven't picked up any Mustang-specific mags, but it's a habit I'm gonna start soon.

If C/D appears less than excited about US manufacturers, understand that's most likely due to Detroit's obsession with SUVs, which aren't the "driver's cars" likely to get their attention. As rhumb pointed out, they've even been kind to this last generation of Mustangs, despite the antique platform compared with other cars today.
