Hey, no problem. I was trying to add a little humor and, sometimes my favorite, sarcasm, to what I know is a stressful process. I wish the process was a little more transparent so that people could feel more comfortable. I am glad to help and am happy that I am able to put this little knowledge to use helping others.
There is usually a manager at the dealership who handles the ordering and manages the order bank. He should be able to answer these questions. I tell my salesman to provide honest, informative answers. And if they don't really know the answer, to come and get me and I'll get the answer.

Hey BEK355, thanks so much for the info above. You insiders have really helped me feel better about this whole deal.

I can't wait to get my DORA on Monday. I'll post again as I get more info.

BEK, funny to hear how you are sucked in too. This is worse than being 15 and wanting to get a drivers license. I know this car will be well worth the wait
