I've been checking out this site for a while and really enjoy the mature topics and feed back. Getting a feel for the the new Mustangs through this board has been fantastic. Aesthetically the cars rock, but we wanted to make sure we are in our comfort zone with this one. My wife said "it is the only car I ever really looked at wanted one". Her 06 Coupe goes into production next week and with any luck we will see her near the end of the month. Keeping our fingers crossed for a positive experience. Thanks for airing it out.

My second "race car" was a 66 fastback auto. We were kids living large hanging at the Ford Racing Club of Albany GA. Every weekend at US19 Dragway. OKC I really don't have a clue. Wife is the one most concerned at this point. Guess I am a little more patient. Maybe I can get her to ask the dealership what they know. We have wheels for now so it isn't a real world problem. You going white stripes? That is a sharp combination. Unless I start having flashbacks of my ratchet head days as a kid, this car will stay stock and not thrashed in the interest of maintaining it's resale value. Sounds like you might already be ahead of us!

Yea I got wheels now as well, but just excited about getting her. I said I was not going to get excited and call ERL all the time etc, but guess what ? Still Happened [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dunno.gif[/img]

I plan to tint first day and then the stripes pretty soon after that and definitely white stripes ! [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen.gif[/img]
Shaker will probably be the last mod as I will want to driver her for awhile first.
