Tungsten with black stripes! Yep, the black is hard to keep clean.

I think you should get the color you like since you'll be driving and paying for it.

If it were me I'd choose the tungsten with black stripes. It will look good with black bullitts and be easier to keep clean than the black.

Im planning no going with the black w/ silver stripes myself.. I just think the combination is plain hot... so it gets my vote. Theres just something so.. classy, about it. So smooth.

..... Black with silver stripes or Tungsten with black stripes....
Don't make your decision based on the stripes. Remember, those are just TAPE stripes. Think 3M. Scotch. Post-It. Duct. Electrical. decal. doodad...... forget about 7 foot long M U S T A N G being a part of your car permanently. Take some pictures of your car when you first have it and be done w/ tape stripes.

Those can and will come off easily. The only reason most folks have them is to get the cheap trunk spoiler. They do come off very easily. If you get the BLACK car, especially, a car you must wash a lot, those things may peel away within a month.

I'm assuming you are choosing cars that are already on a dealer lot. if you are ordering a new 06 car, take advantage of the 'tape stripe delete'.

bottomline: Don't make a permanent decision on a vehicle based on the tape decals.

BTW: I vote for BLACK. I love it w/ the red leather interior. It shows dirt easy, but its a beauty when its clean. I love the car sans tape decals.

He said he was ordering his car in a month... where did he say anything about tape stripes?

Black w/silver would be my choice. But that's based on painted LeMans silver stripes, not the Ford V6 stripes.

I would say Tungsten w/Black Stripes & Black Bullits

Black looks awsome but my previous car was black and the reason for my choice.
Black car = Hard to keep clean, shows swirl marks more noticeably and is really HOT in the summer

But ultimately, it's your car and your choice. Write down what you do and don't like about each color combination, look at pictures of the two for comparison and make your decision.

Either way, you will LOVE the car
