Hey Don. Do you still have that 390 GT/CS?

Not much more on the Bullitt. I know 12 horsepower doesn't sound like much, but the 3.73 gears should give added punch, and the suspension is well-tuned for handling.

Any news on what the price will be like? Hopefully not marked up by the dealers like the GT500.

The mark up is at the dealer and you can rest assured it will be initially.

The only things guaranteed in life are taxes, death and a dealers ADM!! My completely uneducated guess would be intially in the $10K range

No way they'll be able to get MSRP + $10K for the Bullitt. Shelby GTs aren't selling for that.

$5k max, for a measly 12-15 hp. You can get that with a CAI and tune.

Never say never!

BTW, personally I don't blame dealers for ADM.

Here's the example I always use: Let's say you've got the exact car I want and I have lots of money. If I offered you $50,000 for it, who'd be crazier...me for offering it, or you for not taking it?

The other thing about ADM is that it's a way that dealers can keep an example in the showroom as a draw. They know they can sell it at any time they want, but they may consider it a reason to bring people to the dealership.

Of course, not only would I never pay ADM, I would never even pay MSRP!

I'll stick with $10K as an intial asking price - especially in the larger urban areas. For those who have been waiting for the Bullit, hope I'm way off but there are going to be some folks who want one regardless

I don't know, it doesn't have much fanfare in the media like the GT500, so I don't see us shooting for any kind of huge markup. I'd probably just put it on ebay at MSRP and let it eat(I run ebay sales for our store). Just let the market decide on what it's worth. Nobody here even knows it exists yet.
