"JMS Products will be releasing 05 scoop kits, louver kits, delete panel kits, roof scoop kits and grille kits. The scoop kits will be direct replacements to the 1/4 window as the 05 does not have a bolt on c-pillar body panel."

I wonder, how do the windows come out? They look like they can pop out from the inside but what keeps them in place?

they are probably glued to the structure of the car in a similar way as the windsheild. In either way, this will be an expensive piece, because the rear louvres will have to clean up the interior as well.

Jay's website is http://www.jmsproductsinc.com I would try and get Jay to join the site, but he is so darn busy i doubt he would have the time. You can see his panel on my car on his website, front page, the Carlisle Picture(Project Eleanor). As for the 05 scoop. I Know its gonna be designed to replace the 1/4 window, and somehow be bolted inside the interior, under the side dash. Delete panels, will probably just be a panel that fits to erase the window, to make it more smooth. It may not be possible even so i may let him know to just try and make it like the 05 Concept scoop!

Steve I was thinking the same thing..and removing that window will be a PITA for sure!

Looks to me like there is enough of a gap around the glass that you could design the louvre or scoop with metal clips that would slide into this groove, behind the edge of the glass. That way, the window could stay in, allowing for some rearward visibility in the case of louvres. And, it wouldn't be such a PITA to install or revert to the original configuration.

Well do you think that these scoops to cover the wondow will be smooth-looking like the ones on the concept 05, or scoops that jut out of the car, like the old shelby's.

I'm not rhumb, but, i'll give you my opinion.....Booooooo!

I like the nice clean windows that come on the car. If you guys like scoops, more power to you. I just don't like tacked on "rice".

Yea, same. They're kinda pointless if they're just for looks and not really functional.

Actually, they are less functional than a window.
