"The Secret Service has announced it is doubling its protection for John Kerry.
You can understand why - with two positions on every issue, he has twice as many people mad at him." - Jay Leno

For all of you having problems with Leno's Bush jokes

I've known that he has about a million cars for quite some time, but always wondered how he goes about insurance? Having insurance on ALL of those cars and bikes would just be a ridiculous amount of $$$ even for Leno I think

Insurance won't be as bad as you think if the car is not a daily driver and is a collectible insurance is suprisingly low the don't worry about you wrecking your collectible just theft. They did a show about it on Car Crazy

Maybe it was a "Free With Purchase" gift to go with his Ford GT.

Maybe it was Ford's way of advertising the new Mustang and Ford paid him to drive off in it. I hope he didn't borrow mine, that's why mines taking so long. Too bad he doesn't have to ding ding or any woo-whoos to kick.

Yes, you are right, I work here at NBC in Burbank, and the Red 05' is in his parking spot here in the midway outside of the Tonight show soundstage. It has the Red Leather interior, and the interior upgrade package. the red looks great!! I'm trying to get a pic of it now. If I do I will post it.

He has more than enough money to legally self-insure. That's what I would do if I were him.

Wait a minute, you mean if I have enough money I can opt not to have insurance, as whatever the heck happens I can pay for it. Makes since. Must be nice...

Don't invest in the lottery. It's just a way the government takes your money without you realizing it. It's sad that people are happy to pay taxes that way .. and they're only happy about it because they don't realize that's what it is.

Start up an IRA and put a little aside each month. The miracle of compounding will eventually take over B)

BTW: The thing I said about not caring about Leno making fun of Bush .. I never take comedians seriously. I am a big Bush supporter, I just don't care because I don't think jokes are going to change anybody's minds. They watch that show for entertainment, not political value. If they wanna watch something for political value, watch The O'Reilly Factor.

the local ford dealership turned down 230 k for a new gt recently..... And once you get over a certain price on a car they don't insure you because they think you should have enough money to buy another one

Don't you think Ford would be nice to you if you spent $140k + on a car? Jay Leno's publicitiy is GREAT for Ford. Don't complain about it.

I don't like his anti-Bush jokes either, but he's a comedian, what do you expect? They rip on conservatives constantly .. they're part of the media.
That's funny, I hated him because I thought he was PRO-Bush. Yeah, Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, Sean Hannity. Dang, that is one liberal bunch. I think all of us should shut up about everything political from now on. I'm a democrat, you're a republican, who the heck cares. We all love Mustangs here so please keep the politics to yourself, I will from now on. -Rant Over

Hey, that Mustang sure kicks butt.
:usa: :flag2:
Let's all get along
