Jay Dold's Built, Blown and Stroked Saleen

Just got done with a new project for Jay Dold. Car is a 2005 Saleen with a Aftercooled Vortech.
We did a stroker, upped the boost to 14 psi, ported heads and cams.
This thing is absolutely sick! Here is the dyno graph:

This is with stock manifolds. Before spring we will be doing exhaust and adding 2 more psi along with a few other goodies Mike and I took it for a drive today and it's was quite a ride!

If you're reading this Jay, thanks for the business!

Obviously money wasn't an issue, why would't Jay go with the Series IV or KB or even a turbo? Also, what'd you stroke it to?

He already had the Vortech which was put on by another shop a year or so ago. We actually had a conversation about changing it out but he decided not to. He really wants a whipple though.

It's a 302 now.

Some people just want that muscle car sound. I love turbo cars and I was pretty much decided on a turbo. But I think I'm putting a Whipple on. Someday I'll build a turbo street car but I'm a big fan of twin screws also.

Probably 1 3/4" primaries with 3" exhaust all the way back. Not sure if we will do an H or X.

Yes. But I'm trying to get him to switch to a T trim when we do the other upgrades.
