I've HAD IT!!!
yea that kinda got me too. but tsbs should fix those rattles and stuff. i had rattles and ticks that were coming from the dash. but also the link aint workin. and how did you trade it in if you still have it? i doubt a dealer would let you just take the viper out and not take the mustang. i no how mad you can get when something goes wrong. i always do too. but i like to get it in fast to get it fixed.
If you have that kind of money to be dropping on a saleen and then a viper.... it sounds like you dont have too many problems on your hands... least of all money.
Should have forgone the viper and got a real sportscar.... Ferrari or Lambo come to mind...
Just remember, you bought a Mustang with a fancy name on it.... in the end it's still a Mustang. Same interior as everyone else except for a few minor differences and a supercharger perhaps.... in the end... a marked up mustang gt.
my .02c
enjoy the Viper.... I drool over the black one at work all the time...(last 5 months anyway) till I saw the Ferrari and the Lambo parked in the garage.

well the day i made the post, i was planning on trading it in, but the dealer wasn't going to give me what i wanted, so i decided to keep it for now and sell it privately or give it to my bro.and thanks boltzman for gettin my back...i appreciate it....a ferrari and lambo are nice, but nothing compares to an american muscle car....i attached a pic of the new ride...
I guess what I dont understand, as there isnt alot of details posted, is why you didnt see about getting the car replaced under the lemon law or contacting an attoryney if things were that bad. You appear to have some $$ from the new car and pic you posted so it seems that you just gave up. And no offense but I dont see from what little you posted what you were so frustrared about. I am sure you have left alot out. We are not trying to be jacka*ses about it and want to help. Post in detail your ordeal and I am sure someone can help you out. No one deserves to get screwed over no matter what you drive. Let us know.
well, i mean as one of you guys said, i paid all that money for a roush and expected it to drive like a caddy, and it didn't, plus i'm sure most of it was because i was being picky....i hate noises coming from cars that shouldn't be there, like the ticking, and a weird whine my clutch made when i shifted, and everytime i brought it to the dealer, nothing was wrong they said. the double sided tape on the roush body parts were coming up, so they had to replace all those, and i think i bought the car for how beautiful it was, and not taking the time to see what i actually wanted in a car besides looks.all that money i paid, and the car's inside is all plastic, it doesn't have automatic lights, and i guess that bummed me out a little too....but i wanted the car so bad, i overlooked all that.but now that the new car feeling is over, i just didnt want to deal with it anymore. but my brother loves it and i think im just going to give him the keys and let him do what he will with it(its still got 2 years before its paid off), its a sweet car, but i guess maybe im too picky or something...i dont know,i see alot of you want me to say what exactly was wrong with the car, but its hard to describe the problems i had with it because im not really knowledgeable in that field...but i hope that kind of helps you all out a little...
Thanks, Manuel, it does help. I think maybe the Mustang is not the right car for you. No matter how much they build it up, the Mustang has always been a lower price-point car. The GT's and up are just lower price-point cars with better pieces under the hood and connecting the wheels, etc.
Sounds like you want something more upscale. Having driven a Viper, I can assure you that you won't hear much of anything besides that lovely V-10. And it is hard to notice interior details when acceleration squeezes your eyeballs flat back into their sockets.

Should've bought a Z06. Way better all around than the Viper. Both on the street and on the track. Vipers are novel, but you'll tire of it as well. The Vipers I've been in weren't screwed together all that well, so I'm not sure you really upgraded as far as build quality.
That Viper looks sick - Love the color too
. I hope it does you proud and your driveway looks nice as well (good lanscaping)
. Sorry to hear about the stang but at least it sounds like your brother will enjoy it.

OH MAN!!!!!! Goodluck with that amazing machine. That is the exact car I hope and pray daily I can own someday. Hopefully sooner than later. Black SRT Vert. An older (2000+) is fine too, but prefer the newer at this point.
Congrats on the viper. I drove in an 06 super charged viper last week and it was AWSOME words are hard to describe it. He was doing about 45 and punched it in second gear and the back end swung out LOL it's almost better than sex. Nah but close.
hahaha...its pretty close to it
