I don't know if this has been posted, but I really didn't feel like looking either....

Week 42 scheduling starts tomorrow: October 21st: Please remember..on the
2005 Mustang Coupes (T80 models)...the "18G" is no longer available. If you
look at your coupes in your orderbanks..they show material hold..its the "18G".
Cannot schedule...2005 Mustang Coupes with this option. (18G)

From FORD!!!!

Does this mean any future orders or that it is kicking back all that are now ordered and not yet built?

hmmm...what about T82? or is it only on the T80? my GT has already been built with it, but it's really strange they would decide to not offer the IUP anymore.

Material hold. They just don't have enough parts for this option, and will therefore delay the build of cars with this option until the parts arrive.

The option is no longer offered on the V6. Any v6 in the order bank that are on a temporary hold because of this will not be processed according to the info sent down from Ford.

My real salesman told me that today.
He also said it would be a GT option only.

Is my understanding correct that IUP will not be offered at all on 2005 V6s? That seems hard to believe (not doubting you; doubting Ford's brains). Did anyone who pre-ordered a V6 get in under the wire and get IUP?

wait....this is ONLY the V6 right....not the GTs? Are the GTs on hold for more IUP parts?

this Doesn't make sense. How many Cars have been produced since launch? How could they run out already!

The IUP is no longer available on the v6. If it is already produced and was ordered with the IUP then it would have it since it is already produced.... Any orders in the order bank on temporary hold will not be processed with the IUP. It is now only available on the GT.

The only Stang I've seen in person was a V6 with a non IUP black on black dash, and I thought it looked like "hiney". IUP is a must have. That makes V6ers look like second class cars.(IMO at least in black on black dashes) I hope they lift that embargo soon or next model year.

It seems pretty clear:

V6 in the order bank- If it is on hold for the IUP it will not be built until the IUP option is removed
Future V6 orders- the IUP is not an option
GT- can order it all day and night, but there is still a part shortage. With the v6s taken off the list for the IUP parts they should be able to fill the GT orders quicker.

noe joeuser. Not correct. The IUP was produced on V6's initially and is on hold right now.
