Well after a long 4 month wait (I really feel for you 10+ month guys) I finally got my Mustang last night. One little buzz kill in that my walk around found a small scratch on the front bumper. The dealer will take care of it . The car is nothing short of amazing and has gotten lots of rubber necking.

And I haven't had a chance to take pictures yet so I'll do it for everyone:

For folks in the Portland/Vancouver metro area I'll see you at the Vancouver Mustang Stampede down at the Quey this July. For the folks that wanted to organize a pony drive up to Johnston Ridge... PM me!

:banana2: :banana2: :banana2: :banana2:

What's really cool is that the window sticker does say "R. Lounsbury" on it. Even the fleet manager at McKenzie hadn't seen that yet.

Congratulations!!!

Too bad about the scratch though. Did the dealer already fix it, or do they have to pry the steering wheel from your cold, dead hands?

They'll have to pry the steering wheel from my cold dead hands at somepoint next week. Probably on a Saturday since they are a decent jaunt and impossible to do during lunch. Fortunately it is a small scratch.

And I suffered (coined from the original thread on this topic) a Blondestar moment with my Map Lights. Drove around with them on half the night and it wasn't until I got back to TMS and searched that I found out the dimmer switched was up too high.

Not only is TMS a great place to chat... But an invaluable technical resource too

Congrats Stad!

Drove around half the night huh? Me too
Between joy rides for a couple of neighbor friends, a trip to a local pub, a nice drive out on a pretty much deserted back road to let her rip a little plus the drive home from work yesterday and the trip in today, I put more than 170 miles on mine in just over 24hrs

Congratulations.

I am also in the Vancouver/Portland area and still waiting for my order. Do you mind me asking what dealership you got yours through?
