Dealer called and said the car arrived......................with shipping damage :bang:

He said it will need a new front bumper. Weather permitting, I will make the 70 mile trip and see how bad it is.

Bummer! I'm sure this goes without saying, but be sure and look the whole car over carefully. Good luck and I hope it's not too bad. :bang: :bang: :bang:

Well congrats on it being within reach...That is awful that you still cant enjoy it completely. Maybe go and choke the heck out of the guy that pulled it off the truck if he is still around.

Don’t take anything else then you ordered. If it doesn’t look right get a new car, it’s worth the 8 weeks.

Hi Eric:

I took delivery on 11/17. My car too had damage to the front bumper caused by the car carrirer. But once I looked at the car the damage was so minor (on the very bottom of the bumper) I took delivery anyway while they ordered a new front bumper. Now I am glad I did because the dealer just now finally received the new bumper .. almost 2 months later!

Have you seen the car / damage?

If he made it there and back in 15 minutes he does not need the car.

Just got back from the dealer. I accepted the car with the damage as it was minor and will be covered by the Steeda front splitter. However, after they found the damage they stopped washing her up so the hood and fenders are good to go but the rest of the car will be ready on Friday! It was as ordered with IUP and the Shaker 1000and arrived with only 13.2 miles. I will have a couple sleepless nights ahead of me.

I am afraid that I am 12 weeks into this one without the IUP hold issues. I figure I better take it while I can.

Have the dealer pay the price of a new bumper and put it into the steeda bumper. They might pay for it. See if they will throw in the prep and paint with it. Might get a good deal.....
