How many of you out there would have done the deal it did?

My father made me a deal, I think I could not refuse. He said he would buy me the '05, if I gave him the '68. (see picture below)

The 68 is great but I'm glad you gave it up for the 05.

No way. I would have stayed with the 68 vert. I love the new mustang but there is still nothing like driving around in that classic iron. Unless of course you can pull of the dad please let me drive the 68 this weekend and have the best of both worlds. hey nice 05 by the way

That is true LOVE, he gets you into a much safer and more driveable car and your family still has the 68. That is what they call a WIN WIN WIN. Don't ever do anything that brings shame to that man.

Difficult decision, both cars are incredible. Hope your Dad is going to hang onto that 68 model, that would be something to keep in the family.

Good luck with the new car - you are gonna love it ! B)

Thanks for all the input. I believe my dad is actually going to take the 68 and get the body worked on and give it a new paint job as well.

And oh yes he intends to hold on to it. He has a collection of 3 58 Edsels, my dad loves old cars.

Depending if he keeps it forever, he'll probably will it over to you anyway someday... So you'll probably end up with both. I would of done it cause it's staying the family.

Yup, The fact that it's in the family is a no brainer. I wouldn't have done it if it was going to a stranger.

This is the best of both worlds!
