Perhaps that means it will be bucked on Tuesday January 11 ???

But the "...locked in for production...", coupled with "...scheduled to be built the week of January 10..." sure sounds good.

We'll certainly know more next week.

Mine said that for a week as well. "Locked in for production Jan 5" "Scheduled to be built week of Jan 3". Now, all this week it is only saying "Scheduled to be built week of Jan 3", dont say locked for production any more. But still no update as of 2pm... I wanna hear BUCKED!

 

I called today and mine is still Clean/Unscheduled as of 1/5. Hopefully something will change next week!!!

Does anyone know why VOPC would say "as of January 7th" every day this week. My message all week has been "As of January 7th, your unit is scheduled to be built week of January 3rd".

I am hoping to get bucked next week as well!

 

Well I guess I know why mine is still listed as c/u...Just called my dealer to ask if they have updated my priority number since I was a 99 in December because they were out of allocation. Been trying to get him on the phone all week. He said "I don't know, I haven't had time to look it up in the computer". Told me he'd been having a bad day and if he found some time he'd look it up later. Methinks maybe I should ask to speak to the manager. I know I'm not the only crayon in his box, but I feel a little pushed aside.

 

What exactly do you need to check the status of your order. I ordered on Dec 28th and got a page showing my order was sent to the order bank. I think most of the info comes from the dora right? Thanks in advance.

mine was scheduled to built today but when i called the quotmated # today it was still saying my "unit" is scheduled to be built 1/7...so i'm guessing they might have just not updated their system or something.

Yeah, I think that's the one! Problem is, the guy I ordered it from is my friend's hubby. He quit about 2 weeks after I ordered and gave my order to a guy he was working with. This guy handles all the handicapped equipped vans and trucks for fleet sales, so he's not really up on what's going on with the Mustang. This just makes me feel that much less secure.

my order has been pulled long ago... they finally got my car serialized and its scheduled for 1/17 to be built and they said high possibility of End of January Delivery... Ordered 11/17 and I do have IUP and the customer service person said IUP will be on my car for sure...

 

I've been calling all week as well and still c/u as of 1/5/05. 6:00 p.m. today. I'm just curious how the person earlier got the mess as of 1/7/05 all week and we arn't getting that mess even today?

 

Called my dealer today. C/U is pretty much what he told me. Said to plan on a Feb. build, be here in March. For what it's worth when I ordered he was unaware of the IUP delay and said he would check on it. He told me today he was informed the problem is with one of the SS inserts. The machine that stamps them messed up and they are having to retool it. Anyways maybe that the big reason for the delay. Makes sense to me and I have a very good and reliable dealer. So hurry up Febuary I can't wait.

 

BTW could someone tell me who I call so I can quit bugging my dealer. I've heard of a VOPC(??) , but didn't write down the number when I got the chance. :bang:

Last week I was C/U. This week got a VIN and scheduled for 1/17. Maybe Ford got a new supply of IUP parts for mid-January.

 

So...in other words... a... ROBOT problem!!!!

I finally got some movement today as well. Up till today I had been "As of Dec. 2nd your unit is scheduled for production the week of Jan. 10th", but today when I called I heard "As of Jan. 11th your unit is locked in for production. It is scheduled to built week of Jan. 10th"

Sure am glad to get a feeling it's really going to happen.



By the way, what are "SS inserts"?

How can the dates changes twice AFTER Dec 9th and the machine still says Dec 9th,

This is starting to depress me.
