@pancaken

Might Want to Give This Network a Try. It's What We Used at the Dealership When We Needed to Go Used!

Indeed. May I also offer up car-part.com? It's a worldwide database of salvage yards, and while it may not have the same procedures, pricing, delivery, etc, ad nauseam (aka, you go get it and they have their rules about if it's returnable and why/how, probably) it's still a good source if you can't get it anywhere else.

If that helps, great! If not, well, maybe for a console it'd be helfpul. Have a good one!

Edited: Fixed the link, sorry!

The 05-06 use one engine. Here are what is around your area.

https://www.hollanderparts.com/used-...th-digit,-sohc)

The 07-10 use another. Here is that list in your area.

Be careful. Some of the wrecking yards are lumping this motor into one use. I'd go with the year that matches your year vehicle, not what some yards try to post as correct. We've run into this before on an Explorer, (block wasn't drilled for a sensor) so try your best to match the year grouping.

Good luck with your search.

@akdoggie hey man how's it going? I have been trying to get a hold of you.
I've been looking for a 2010 v8 engine myself. Looking to put it in my 06. Thanks for the information guys.

Sorry man. I had computer disintegrate on me, so I wasn't around much. I'm kinda here and there now. Hell, I don't even post much on my F150 forum, and I have a thread I started there with 1.8m views. All started with my lil Red F150 RCSB. LOL

How's the new Mustang doing? I can't remember exactly where you are, but outside Toronto if I remember correctly.

This year for sure, Sonya gets the swap to purple stripes. Three years sitting on these things, finally if the weather isn't like last year (rain from July 13 till it snowed in October). Not much got done around here. LOL I am running my 19" wheels, but think I'm going to go back to the chrome 5 spoke GT wheels from 07. I had them on her at first, then when to the newer 18 5 spokes, and now I'm going to go back to what I put on her in 2011. I somehow like these wheels the best.
