I was driving home from school today when i decided to take a detour down I-75 to exit 29A (Flat Rock), to drive down past a few dealerships just to check status on the 05's. Superior Ford in Flat Rock (right across the street from AAI) is still MIA on the 05's, as well as Gorno (Woodhaven), Southgate (Southgate), Village (Dearborn), and Fairlane (Dearborn). Now for those of you not familiar with MI and the AAI area, all of these dealerships are within 15 miles of AAI. BTW, i drove down International Dr. today and was amazed at the number of Mustangs just sitting there waiting to be loaded. Then I headed down by my house and went past the Woodhaven Autoport, right next to the railroad to see how many more have been put there. I plan on going back tomorrow on my day off and getting some pictures.

yeah, im really surprised that the dealers closest to AAI don't have them yet. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Ill keep everyone posted on when they actually get them around here.

I think a guy in my neighborhood might be buying a new GT soon. He's a big Ford guy, and has nothing but money to throw around.

 

Does that GT have the iup? I heard the iup GTs were on hold or so the other thread says it.

 

Man, it is hard wait for mine. But I can't imagine waiting and then driving by to see them all just sitting there. Got to make the wait harder.

 

I would like to know why Ford is doing this so weird.

I know what you mean.. it's frickin crazy. Although I have seen a couple 05's driving to Superior Ford from AAI.. there are none there.. nor at mine Southgate Ford

I don't have one on order, but it would drive me nuts living this close and not having my 05.. that and still having to pay the distanation charge

 

It has red seats, don't you have to have IUP to get them?

 

Yes, the GT in the picture was a 5 spd, IUP, ICAP, and the Shaker 500 system. that particular one was a canadian model and had the kph instead of mph - kinda gave me the false sense that i was going super fast lol.

Amy, im sure youve seen quite a few around here. I've caught a few in Wyandotte at night when ive been over there with some buddys, as well as taken a lime one over there myself. i did finally see a hauler today on NB I-75 with all GTs on it, which looked awesome. Granted, I don't have one on order, but its been a dream of mine for some time now to get ahold of one. I'm just waiting until next year now and getting a Cobra.
