The invoices are out now, so for all the speculating on what x-plan/a-plan differences are, here is one for a well-equipped(about average) gt, xplan is less then 100 over invoice

To understand it a little bit, the MORE expensive the car gets, the CLOSER(or under-not likely on a sub30k car) Xplan gets. Expect about 50.00 more over invoice for the cheapest V6, and just about at invoice for a totally loaded automatic gt. Most likely a 'vert loaded would be about 20 bucks under invoice.

Great information, thanks a lot. Now just need to get an x-plan #, save money, and wait for a cobra.

Anyone notice the shipping weight? I thought the GT was heavier than 3315 lbs.

If that car had charcoal interior that would be my invoice. When my dealer called a few weeks ago with my Xplan price I could not write it down in the car. He said to remember a few dollars less than 25600. This shows he was right on with the calculations. Thanks Kevin

D-plan is the same as A-plan [/b][/quote]
A is ford employees, and now some friends and neighbor companies may be moving to A plan too

Z is ford retirees

D is dealer employees

All three plans are listed as "A", it used to say A/Z/D on invoices untill 2004.

I saw my invoice at the dealer last Friday. The only options my car doesn't have are the automatic tranny and the color accent package, and the x plan pricing is ~40 dollars over invoice.

Also, the dealers most recent paperwork showed the car as being in transit with an ETA of 10/05, but seeing that Friday was the 8th, I don't think it arrived by the 5th. The dealer told me that cars often arrive +/- a week of the ETA.

I see that x plan pricing is only a few bucks under invoice or right at it- is that correct? Correct me if I am wrong
