I did a couple searches on squeaks and axle grind and couldn't find anything quiet like the problem I'm about to describe.

When I drive my car, mostly in the morning and in colder weather I get a squeaking sound coming from my rear. It sounds like its coming from the rotation of the tires. When I apply the brakes, it gets louder. Now at first I thought it was just the brakes and had them replaced via the TSB out there. I still have the problem though so I'm not sure what it could be. Any ideas out there? Thanks in advance.

hate to ask- but have you checked the lugnuts? Ive had a couple aluminum wheels loosen up over the years...might want to retorq every year, or a couple weeks after removing for any reason...

Also stones in the tread can really make odd sounds sometimes...
