BUILD WEEK OF 2/6/06
WAS JUST GIVEN THE VIN # TO MY VB GT PREMIUM 5-SPD, WHICH I IMMEDIATELY PASSED ON TO KZINTI. HOW MUCH LONGER DOES ANYONE OUT THERE THINK I HAVE TO GO UNTIL I GET HER HOME. ANYBODY ELSE WITH THE SAME BUILD WEEK ?
Same build week here...
Called the ERL this morning, said that 'As of Feb 9', I'm locked in for production week of Feb 6 with an ETA of Feb 23.
According to several members here, when the "as of" date is later than the "build week" date, the "as of" date is the actual build day.
More importantly is the ETA date!

Hi Susan!
When I call the ERL, I use the order number. My problem is the way I say the body type (T82), 50/50 chance she understands it. After 3 failed attempts, she transfers me to an Analyst, at which point I hang up and hide! It's frustrating at best.
Here's a hint I grabbed from a post last year by Flyinlow on how to speak nicely to the ERL. Hope it helps.
I have learned that when talking to the ERL, you can't use normal conversation. (I've done some work with voice recognition software). Voice recognition software is setup so you "train" it to respond to you. Thats not what actually happens. It trains you.
I was having issues with the same thing, body code, with the ERL. I learned that you can't use normal conversation and say it "tee eight two".
You need to say it "tee (pause) eight (pause) two" and make sure you don't trail off the words, cut them off sharply. When saying it that way, it works every time. Make sure to emphasize the "t" part of "tee" when saying it.
