They are working on one available in Chrome, but says it is still in the works, and a long time away.

This is a sweet deal if we can get everyone to do a GROUP PURCHASE. These guys seem really cool to work with.

I have to agree I really like the running pony look better. This one is not bad but it just lacks something

 

I think Ill wait for cdc's shaker system/engine cover/ but does look nice.

 

I already ordered (silver) before seeing this thread. They are deleting the 'GT' lettering on mine by request. I will simply affix a chrome 'Pony' grille emblem in it's place. I think this will look better. They said it would ship by the end of the week. I'll post pics once installed.

 

I'm in no rush to get a cover. I personally don't like this cover, and am not going to get it just because there is nothing better out there. I'll be patient and get one in a year that looks better and for half the price.

 

While I do think Plenum Covers do look nice this one included I do have a concern. Not sure if it should be a cause of concern but here goes, wouldn't a cover over the intake runners cause a heat buildup that would affecting the air/fuel charge? I mean a cold air filter system helps to increase performace though a smoother air flow and a cooler thus denser air charge. If a nice looking cover is going to affect performance then no thanks, also a fiberglass cover such as the one shown verses an aluminum one, I beleive that aluminum would disipate heat better.

 

I'm going to wait for the availability of the OEM one that was shown on the concept car, and reads: "Powered By Ford" w/embossed pony.

 

If the Mustang has a design flaw its the amount of air the hood traps under it. Thats why people have reported hood shake. Alsdo why the Shelby has hood vents. It flows plenty of airunder the hood to not have to be concerned with that.
