I called my insurance broker and they still don't have 05 rates yet. Has anyone got a quote for insurance yet? I know rates are different depending on age, experience etc.

I'm over 40, no tickets (not yet at least but things might change when I get the GT ) no accidents.

Has anyone in the Toronto area fitting this description received an insurance quote yet?

Thanks

I just picked up my GT on Friday and I'm paying $3200 per year. I'm 35 but I do have 2 speeding tickets on my record. I didn't bother shopping around b/c nobody wants to insure guys like me. It is expensive but I quickly forget about it once I start her up every morning...sweeeet!

I'm a little outside of Toronto, and a little older than most of you at 50+. My insurance quote which I just got would be $969.00 for 6 months. That's for a GT model, driven to work.

Montrose,

That sounds good. Who quoted you that? My broker doesn't have rates yet but I was quoted $3100 for a 2004 GT. For my age and record, thats a little pricey.

I have home owners insurance & car insurance with allstate. I own 3 cars with full cov. I just added my 2005 mustang gt and was quoted $62.00 more a month for full cov. I am 50 yrs old , my wife is 48, my daughter is 22,we are all coverd on this policy. I can live with this price.
