Installing CDC's 3rd brake light kit...any help?
I've got my ducktail on now and will be installing the 3rd brake light real soon. I looked up other threads and most of them are old w/o pictures anymore.
So for those who have it and installed it I would appreciate any tips, suggestions and/or help in the install process. Also pictures would be helpful too.
Where exactly did you locate it (against the headliner, spaced it away from headliner, etc...)?
Thanks for your help guys!

It tucks up against the liner and attaches with two sided sticky tape. (doesn't everything) I had the body shop install mine when they did the spoiler so I'm not much help on the actual installation process. There is probably a install procedure pdf on CDC's website.
Now that I have my windows tinted it has almost disappeared.

Looks good Rich, nice and clean. So if I understand correctly, the housing is up against the liner. The led's are hidden behind the black part at the top of the glass?

Has anyone installed one of these AFTER window tinting has been done? I'm thinking about getting this but I don't want it to destroy my tint w/ the adhesive!

I actually called CDC about this and they said if I was planning on tinting then I should do that first then mount the brake light.
I do recall seeing a post where a guy tried to mount the light after he had the tint already installed. It seems he made a mistake in placement and when he tried to pull the housing off to reposition it his tint came with the tape. So make sure you have it where you want it when you pull the tape off.

Here's a link to their installation instructions. http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...coupe%20TS.pdf
I mounted mine and then had my windows tinted. I reinstalled the light using only the 2 sided sticky tape on the black part of the window where it wasn't tinted. It is solid and holding up fine. Now you can't even tell that there is a 3rd light there until I hit the brakes.
