Sorry, but this is a completely silly thing to spend money on. It just does not look right. There are so many other functional enhancements that should be made before covering fasteners. Next you will be putting on that fake steel braided hose over your radiator hoses. :notnice:

I like the look but could never justify the cost within my budget. Maybe someone else will do the same thing for less money. I like it, thanks for sharing.

Can always add a strut tower brace to solve the problem.

I think they look good. They aren't woth $100 to me, but to each his own. If I were big into car shows, they would definately be a product I would consider though, as they add a lot to the appearance of the engine bay. Little touches like that can go a long way.

I got my car home and popped the hood and the first thing I said to myself was "Dang, those strut tower bolts look awful."

Im serious, I thought they looked very bad. I would definitely spend $100 for these covers. Thanks for the link.

Stinky Old Fart I can tolerate someones opinion that may differ from mine and that is cool regarding my choice to cover the strut towers. What does get under my skin is a person like you that likes to hammer someone. You have no idea what my future mods are. You cannot predict the future my friend. Futher more is it not my money and car???? Lighten up my friend, some people on here do want not cover those hoses. I totally know that everyone will not like what others do to their cars and I like hearing and reading both opinions. It is just sad that you have to take it down a notch.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to post some pics of UPR Products strut cap kit that I installed. They sent me a note on the product's packing that stated that I bought their first kit. Really found that to be amazing and cool at the same time.
Anyway the satin aluminum kit is a real nice accessory to cover those exposed strut tower nuts. The aluminum pieces fit snuggly over the nuts and add a nice clean finish. I think it gives the engine area a real finished look. Your comments welcome.

Beachboy, where did you get those hood struts? How much were they and and were they easy to install?

Rob, I purchased them from Redline Tuning, their link is below. The cost was $59.95 and they work great. I had a local shop install them for around $30.00. I kinda got spoiled with the hood struts, as they are on my F250. They offer two models of hood struts, I bought the cheaper of the two.

Sorry guy, but in your opening post you wrote comments welcomed. Well, I provided my comments in accordance to your request. If you can't tolerate unfavorable feedback, don't post requests for comments.

The worst insult is the truth. And this mod is just plain dumb. Deep down you know it too.

Stinkey Old Fart you really amaze me. Not only can you predict my future mods but now you can read my mind. It is great to have people with such talents on The Mustang Source forum.
True I welcome opposing view points everyone should, because everyone will not like a particular mod or idea one may have. In the same breath others may like what someone does and are able to gather needed info.
In closing I really could care less what your opinion is sir since you seem not to be able to make an opposing opinion without a personal slam. see ya
