Another lucky one,
definitely comment on the clutch feel... was it a lot lighter than current models?

Must be the Hydraulic clutch. The last car I drove with one was a Maserati Biturbo, and felt very smooth. I can't wait to see what the 05's is like.

My take on the clutch: since I drive an 03 Cobra I was expecting a little softer clutch but not what this one has... seems very light but well matched to the car. My left leg thanks Ford. I felt the clutch start to grab about 1/3 of the way through the stroke, at half way full engagement. This will be a very easy clutch to learn on for you non manual drivers. The short shifts were easy for me to find.
The one thing that I did notice as I watched from the sidewalk beside the launch point.... This car lookes like a 69-70 mach 1 from the rear and almost 1/3 of the drivers missed 3rd. I don't know the reason but I did watch for over 2 hours. With the good lanches and the bad stuck in my brain.
I did see a couple of launches where the back end "scooted" out to the drivers side and it was the yellow and the black ones that took the most punishment.
One last note: That shift **** "HAS TO GO" It just looks "cheeeeze"
