Improved Wiper Blades
I am not sure why Ford put the cheapo wiper blades on the Mustang (Look at a Fusion or Edge and see the Euro Blades), but I found blades from Bosch that enhance the look of the car and work very well.
They are the Bosch Icon wiper blades, Numbers 420A and 422B. Check them out. I purchased them at Pep Boys...a little pricey, but well worth it in my opinion.

Good point...I was in Dallas/Ft worth when I picked mine up...no Pep Boys in South Dakota either. I did find this link for the blades on line:
http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductL...r=Wiper+Blades
Plug in your ZIP code when it asks, then just continue to follow the links through year, make and Model. You should end up on the right page listing the blades and the cost. I just tried it from my preview post and it did work.

I don't have a problem with the blades that come with the car.
1. They work well
2. They last at least a year at optimum performance
3. You can buy cheap refills
My 10 year old Camaro still had the original blades in it when I traded it in, and I live on the we(s)t coast. Just got refills every year. Trust me, on a 4th gen Camaro, with the huge, swept windshields and 24" blades, you need fresh ones if you want to see.
I believe with the high dollar low profile ones, they don't work any better, and you have to buy new blade assemblies each time.

Good point I had the 05 GT for just over a year no worries and the 07 GT/CS now for 4 months no worries either .

If you want some really good blades try these. A little pricy but well worth it.

Wipers could almost be an option here. I don't remember the last time it rained.
If I remember correctly, the last time it rained, a few months ago, I had to figure out how they work and now I forgot again.

after reading this thread I changed the blades on my car. The Bosch blades look much better.
Here in the UK I have noticed the Landrover Freelander 2 has exactly the same blades as the Shelby!

I have to say that they do look much better (if one can really say that about a wiper blade). They are pricey, I think I paid around $40 for the pair at a local auto parts store but hopefully they last for quite awhile....
