2005-2009 Mustang Information on The S197 {Gen1}

I'm gonna explode - someone please interpret this!

Can someone please tell me exactly what this means? "As of December 15th, your unit is locked into production and scheduled to be built the week of December 13th". Does this mean that the car is scheduled to be completed on the 15th, or started on the 15th?

It means you car can be built wed, thursday, or friday of the week of dec the 13th

Neither, it will be produced the week of December 13th. That statement just means that the statement is current up until Dec 15th.

Yeah, kinda funny they are referring to the future when they say "as of." Perhaps they meant november 15th?

Could be, but probably not. The status yesterday was "As of November 18th, your unit is scheduled to be produced the week of December 13th". And that's the strange part, like you said about referring to the future in the present tense Either way, it's comin'!!!

Did they say "as of december 15th" or "as of november 18th"? You say december in the original post, but now you say november. November makes sense. It was the physical time that I was talking about when I said they were referring to the future, not the tense of the statement.

Yesterday the status was, "As of November 18th". Today the status is, "As of December 15th", along with the added "locked into production" info.

Okay my car is scheduled for build week of December 13, and since that's a Monday it will be built somewhere between the 13th and 17th.
Now for my question-
Latest information includes a delivery date week of December 31st.
Since the 31st is on a Friday does that mean the car will arrive between the 27th (which is a Monday) and the 31st, or should I plan on after the New Year?

aint it great?! The best thing we can do is try to remain calm. Until we get "the call", then feel free to be the 8yr old on Christmas morning
