Tungsten Gray, yep. Pypes for sure, Violaters I think. Very nice neighborhood friendly sound.
The engine compartment told me the car had been taken care of. Nice, clean, stock engine was what I was looking for. I'm not much on buying a modded car unless I know who did the mods, and how well they were done.

From the pics you posted, you can definitely tell just how well the previous owner took very good care of your 06 GT.. From the exterior and engine bay, the car still appears to look as though she just rolled off the showroom floor IMO..
In the meantime, I really hope you enjoy your new ride for many great years yet to come.. Congrats

Either way, what are your plans for it?

From the pics posted Patrick, the wheels appear to look like the stock 18's IMO
I also don't think the car's been lowered either..IIRC didn't the OP mention that everything is stock except for the Pypes Violator axle backs

Patrick, it's not lowered. I think, like Rocky says, the 18's fill that 4X4 gap a little better. So far the first things is to get everything changed, fluids, filters, etc. I changes my first ever serpentine belt yesterday, cleaned the throttle body and MAF. After that's done I'm going to play it by ear to see which direction the mood sends me.
The wife has had Mustangs since 2010. I wanted my own to play with. She's a very good sport to allow me to further my addiction.

I just noticed the Morrison Motor Co photo identification. As we talked about once before, they have incredible cars there. At least the one by the Lowe's Nascar Speedway anyway. I doubt there is one car there that would make anyone unhappy. Pricey? Yeah, but solid rides.

For better overall handling and ride quality, IMHO your much better off going with 18" wheels/tires that offer a taller sidewall..
Currently I'm running 20x9.5" Steeda Spyder's on 275/35/20 Nitto NT555 G2 tires, but for my next set, I'll more than likely switch to 18x9.5 or 18x10 on 285/40/18 or 285/45/18's if they clear ?
In the meantime, take care of that really good woman of yours..

Tungsten, eh? Nice choice
The only thing about 18's I find is that it seems like it's getting harder to find decent looking wheels in that size anymore. All the new stuff is 19 and 20

True my friend. The choices have dwindled a lot. I wanted a set of Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500's, but in their infinite wisdom Firestone has discontinued them. I had a set on a Corvette, and they were **** good HP summer tires. I had a set if Falken 950's installed yesterday. With the limited driving I've got with them I think they will suit me fine for I'll use the car for. At least I hope they will. They are HP all season tires.

That was pretty much my reason for purchasing my set of Steeda Spyder 20x9.5 rims and Nitto G2 275/35/20's.. As I just couldn't find a set that I liked nearly as much in 18's.. I also considered 19's until after finding out they actually cost more than both 18/20" tires and also aren't offered in as many size option choices when compared to 18 and 20" sizes

I've seen those on Ebay, and thought they were very good looking wheels. There is a wheel dealing on there now that has some great prices on the Niche wheels. So good I almost bought a set for later, but as good as the wife is it would be a bit difficult for her to understand buying wheel just to store in the basement.
