So after lunch the wife says "Let's look at Mustangs" and I tell her it's no use because they are not doing "A" plan at this time. I'll look and ask for laughs but any chance to admire new cars is one I wont pass up. We head in to TedBritt Ford and of course the salesman says A plans aren't happening right now. My wife is getting upset since we keep walking to an upper level pkg deck. Hey - I wanna still see what's here anyways. She's about ready to get outta there but of course they "happen to have" a remote lot so he'll check the inventory.

NO MANUAL Hardtop GTs. The Manager says if you're willing to "buy today" I'll work it out for you and get you the plan.....so go ahead and check out this white automatic GT just to see if it'll work. He didn't know I was hoping for white but due to killer traffic I spent a couple of hours getting the car out of the remote lot and then getting gas and then driving 0-40 mph. I could not be sure about anything except that I really better get a manual to ensure happiness.

The Manager looks and looks and finds Redfire, Black, Black, Grey and then I ask about Vista Blue. I agree to buy if he can get any of these. ALL Sold. One of the dealers in Baltimore had a Black and a Yellow listed. We already knew the Black was sold so we checked on the Screamin' Yellow. What does it scream? Ticket Me!?

Well the bottom line is I have to call a certain dealership in West VA that I think is not going to come through for me anyway and cancel my order. They'll be happy and if it comes in it will sell since nobody's got much of any GT sticks. It's 18 inch bullitts, HardTop, Shaker 500, with Wing, Dark Charcoal, IUP, and MyColor. I also had them roll into the loan a full up leather with Canary Yellow leather inserts similar to a Torch Red convertible they had in the showroom.

And the Wheel Close-up

So far so very Good. Good Seating, nice ride, like butter-shifting compared to
previous Generation Mustang, great feel gunning through corners (but not enough
time behind wheel yet) and no glitches. Note that I only have about 100 miles so far.

Good Job, I also tried to deal with Tedd Britt, but did not have as much success as you did. About 3 weeks ago, they were still trying to tell me that them waving the 5000 ADM fee was as good as they could go on a GT....., A plan thats great..... Love those wheels, congrads!!!!

NY2DC,
I think it's getting tough moving vehicles out right now....so if you wanna
give them another shot? I went to Fairfax and you can PM me if you want
to know who to talk to and see if they'll work it out. IF you want a Vert
then you'll have a better shot since they've got 'em on the lots.

Ford and GM sales have slowed down and COLD (non-stang loving) weather
is right around the corner so it should get good soon. Try DEC 23-24. That's
gotta be about the best hope for now.

Congratz!

You got your Yellow Stang a day after I got mine.

I, like you was not planning on Yellow either. But she just screamed at me and I had to listen.
