How much did you pay for your V6
I'm sure this topic has appeared before and am sorry, but I have an 05 Fully loaded Premium Coupe V6. I'm under the impression I payed way too much for it and I'd like to know if I did.

2005 V6 Premium Black Coupe loaded w/ all factory options except automatic transmission --
MSRP/window sticker from factory was $25,025 (I mean *everything* down to the factory wheel locks)
The actual price I ended up paying (including the dealer 'documentation' or the dealer 'paperwork' fee that they take on in the Finance office) was $23,184.
I did have to pay state sales tax, plus $89 for my tags/registration/title.
Quick breakdown -- I did buy in the F&I office a few needed accessories -- glass etching -- Tire & wheel package and a Ford ESP. I took advantage of the fact that
I was buying a new car to hammer out some deals on glass etching/tire package & Ford ESP.
$25,025 -- MSRP
$23,284 (x-plan price I was quoted @ time of delivery)
$ -600 (dealer cash to downpayment)
$ +499 (dealer doc fee paid in F&I office)
$ + 89 (tax/tag)
$ +299 (Safeguard Glass Etching)
$ +299 (Tire/Wheel pkg -- usually $369 since I got $2K coverage but I
demanded a break)
$ +2400 (Ford Platinum ESP $100 Ded 7 year/100K miles. Yes thats a lot of
money for an ESP but mine is 7/100 full cvrge $100 ded & I got a $330
discount on this @ time of purchase. Ford sells these direct for $2730
so I saved $330 by nagging @ dealer. Please no flames about Ford
ESP costing $1200. I know about those however those are for a LOT
less coverage than 7/100 or not platinum plan. Constructive discussion
always welcomed. Yes I can cancel this after 8 months/10K miles and
receive a *full* pro-rated refund for any remaining unused time/miles
from the date of purchase if I chose to. Cancelling sooner than
8 months/10K miles the most I'd get is a 90% refund.)
+ my state sales tax State sales tax (GA 7%) was paid on the price of the car ($23,284), safeguard glass etching $299, and $299 tire/wheel/pkg. NO sales tax is collected on the dealer BS fee (The 'doc' fee) or the Ford ESP package, nor on the $89 fees paid for title/tag/registration. The $600 dealer cash does not reduce the sales tax obligation.
I've posted elsewhere how I ended up going through all this so I won't repeat here. Bottomline it was a lot of fun to buy a high-demand car in a "pro-business" state that has no laws whatsoever governing the car sales business. But I kept my chin up, my sleeves rolled up and got my wheels....
My last car was a '97 Mazda that I bought new in '98 that I drove into the ground. Replaced that car w/ this '05 Stang just 6 mo ago. I think I'll keep this car for 7 years to avoid this car-buying thing again

MSRP was 22830 for my V6 Prem. I got the ESP, IUP, Auto, & Leather so it was considerably less than your fully loaded I am sure.
However I only paid 1500 cash & kept the payments of my 03. So I am only going to end up paying around 11500 for my 05. Because Ford agreed to take my 03 back under the Ford buyback thing since it was a lemon & all.
