First of all, I tried to post pics of her but the file size is to big and I don`t know how to resize the pics. (Just bought the camera too). I was lucky to recieve my satin silver premium Gt. w/manual trans, IUP, side airbags, and shaker 1000. I know this isn`t the finest car ever built, but it is everything I had hoped for and more. I love the sound of the exhaust, the way it drives, the way it handles, but most of all, the way it makes me feel when I`m driving it. I know that it is not a limited production car, but it feels one of a kind to me. People look at her coming down the street. I get thumbs up from total strangers. I see people getting whiplash from turning their heads to get a glimps as I drive buy. I had my car sitting in a Buick dealership service center by request so everyone could see it. A lot of GM people said that they thought they would never buy a Ford, until now. Ford hit a homerun with this car. It may not be perfect, but it is perfection. To all of you that have one already, I finally understand how you feel. To all of you that don`t have theirs yet, believe me, it`s definitly worth the wait

Great feeling, isn't it, like your driving around a $100,000 car or something. Good luck with her and keep her happy!

Too bad it didn't look like the concept eh? Then it would be a real seller!

hahaha
Please note the sarcasm

I love seeing this car on the street, I love seeing peoples reaction to it.
I hate not having one yet

It's a great machine. I'm not sure there's a car under 40k that can match this thing as a package. This was the least expensive car my wife and I looked at, and it's by far the best. I'm glad we had to wait on purchasing otherwise I'd be hating life right now knowing I paid 30-40k for a vehicle that is inferior to the Mustang. Great job Ford, build as many of them as you can, I won't care.

I was a GM guy before I saw the Mustang this past January at the Cleveland Auto Show...Even though I couldn't get up close and personal I still ordered it the day I got the "info" from this web site that dealers were able to take orders. Got it about 1 month ago and haven't regretted it for a minute. Runs great and it really does get looks....Had a couple of girls come out of a restaurant and come over to the gas station to look at it, had one guy flash his lights at me and then pull up next to me to see if he could check it out and when I stop for gas everybody comes over to look at it. Never experienced anything like this....Ford really did hit a grand slam on this one. Most bang for your buck you can get. Only thing I would have liked to have seen were some of the original pieces from the show car brought over such as the engine cover and the 18" wheels. I guess that just gives us more things to "personalize".

My wife can't get over all of the attention the car gets. We went shopping the other day and parked far far away. On our way back people were driving around the car as well as several people standing around it. I don't mind the attention but I know that one day in that crowd will be an idiot that is jealous and will do something like key my car. Then I would have to over and over again.

I actually had a family in a suburan following me for about 10 miles on I-70. I was going about 65, they were behind me. Sped up to 80, weaving through traffic (safely) and they followed. I moved to the right lane to let them pass, they moved in the right lane to follow me. It kinda made me feel like a celebrity.

Wouldn't say I'm a GM guy, I just happen to drive one.

I'm more of a best bang for the buck guy...and this car has it in spades! (Looks great, too!!!)

I never thought I would buy a Ford. I would laugh at the stinkers driving new Fords that are falling apart while my Japanese car was twice as old, twice as many miles, and still ran like new.

But I love the Mustang so much, the way I see it is, even if I get stuck with a huge repair bill or two it'll still be worth it.

Yeah....Ford hit a homerun with this Mustang. The only thing I can think of that I may have liked better, is if they had painted the mirrors to match the exterior......other than that, it's all smiles:

Ford definitely got it right! This is one killer car. I work with a lot of GM guys, but everyone is complimenting my 05 Mustang screensaver and wallpaper! Now, if I only had the car in my garage instead of on my computer!

Thank SVT for the black mirrors

With more and more rumors of 5.4 NA cars abound and cobras with and without IRS available, it just keeps getting better. Let the variations begin! Its doubtfull anything will be at NAIAS except the vert, the sportrack and fusion are the major next cars for Ford. I wouldnt be surprised if NY in the spring gets a possible SE or concept though.

Cobra at New York maybe. SE probably shown at 2006 NAIAS.

I'm thinking only one of the FRPP cars will be there at NAIAS, maybe the GTR. The sport-trac will also 'prelude' the styling direction of the 06 Explorer without totally revealing it. so it will be the concept to watch.
