I can not say enough about Ed Miller known on the forum as ISELLFORD.
As you can see by my signature I originally ordered my car last spring. About two weeks ago I found out that I probably wouldn't take delivery until June 2006 due to my dealer's (Paul/Karpro) allocation limits. I appreciated Paul's candor and he did everything possible to try to assure earlier delivery.
Unfortunately, I couldn't wait as I will be carless come February. I called Ed and told him my problem. Instead of trying to take advantage of me, I was desperate, he went way out of his way to help me out.
Ed gave me a GREAT DEAL, way under MSRP, with no haggling. Here on the Jersey Shore dealers are still asking 5k over MSRP for verts and then add on overpriced dealer options. I was almost ready to give in to make sure I could have my car in time.
The best part is that due to Ed's pushing it looks like I will have my car in a few short weeks. Then on top of everything Ed arranged to have the car shipped to my local dealer!!!
Ed has done everything to dispel the "Evil Car Dealer" stereo type. I still acn't believe how he came through for me.
Any members who are having problems with their orders, I strongly suggest you give Ed a call.

I 100% second that notion. Everything Ed did for me is just as Neil said above. He was completely honest and helpful through every step. I can not say enough about him and how he treated me.
The only compaint I have is that I didnt order from him sooner :P as I thought my dealer couldnt be that much of a hiney as he kep having GTs delivered for in stock while my GT sat there C/U. But Ed is a great guy as well as an honest and respectible dealer.

I would like too heard about your delivery experince and the date. Good Luck!
Although it is very nice too heard there are still a few GOOD & HONEST Salesman and a Dealership Sales Manager that has honored the Sale(s)!

I'm just doing my job. I'm one of the old timers in this business and the key to longevity is taking care of customers, period. Plus it helps to be the boss and not have to answer to a sales manager .
I appreciate all the kind words of my new friends.

Ditto on everything. My only complaint is not being close enough to Reynolds to bring my GT there for service.

Add one more heap of praise. I was promised Fall delivery by my local dealer, but finally came to learn 'Fall' apparently means Febuary to them. Orderred with Ed and had a VIN within 2 weeks, just like he said. The way it turns out, I'll completely finish my Masters on Nov 7th, which should be pretty dang close to delivery (ERL just pushed my build week from 10.17 to 10.24). Now that's a nice graduation gift.

Just received an E Mail from Ed, early Saturday morning. my Pony is scheduled to be built November 7, 2005. That's just about 5 weeks from the date I called Ed with my problem.
I don't think the man sleeps, any time I email him I get a response almost immediately. I can't believe I went from not having a car until the summer to having the car by Thanksgiving!!!!!
I'll post pics from and description of the delivery from my local, greedy, dealer.

Bell Motors in NJ Screwed me,I ordered my Stang Gt in June,They gave me a Order#000 and a priority# 10.They said I was the only one that have ordered a Stang from them and will be the first to get one.
Well I am glad I checked their website in sept and they got a few Gts in and mine was still at C/U.
Salesmanager said he moved me up so i will get the Gt sooner.
called Fords 800# and still C/U
I would stay clear from that dealer(thought they were nice but they were lying}JohnnyT

If you were ordered with a priority 10, there is no higher priority that the dealer can give you so I do not know how he moved you up. The only way to getr a higher priority [lower priority number] is by a direct call to the regional office witha request and frankly most dealers won't take the time. Once the region assigns a priority 2 or 1, it will get scheduled.
