Re-ordered today after getting a thorough education from this site. Had I not came across this site I would have been stuck with a crappy, lying dealer with an allotment of 1 and only feeding his salesfloor to sell at MSRP + markup, but more than happy to take deposits and not order customer cars. Anyway, the information provided helped me figure out of all this and find a dealer with allotments, who is averaging 9 customer deliveries a month (I saw the paperwork) on GT's. He took z-plan, got me ordered and I'm a priority 10 on the DORA. If not for this info. I would still be buying the load of crap the other dealer was selling. He has 11 backorders that are not in the system. His last fullfilled customer order was from October. I learned this after confronting them with information I gathered from this sight. They were flabbergasted that I knew so much and finally conceded that my car wouldn't get keyed until probably early fall! It also let the new dealer know they weren't messing with someone who didn't have a clue. This site rocks! Keep the info. coming and let the wait begin.

pwt13,
Good to hear of your new order!
Everyone learns and adds their knowledge here.
This is the #1 source for Mustangs.
I would be a sad case, if not for Brad and all here!
Happy Trails!!

I was in the same type of situation as you were... I spoke with a different dealer who promised me that they could help me, I placed my new order at the new dealership on Feb 28 and already have a build date of 3/14 and an ETA of 3/21!!

To think that I could still be waiting come summer time sitting on this board female dogin about still being C/U!!

FORD owes Brad a car.

TMS is invaluable.

Yeah, TMS really helps.

My Dealer said that you couldn't order a V6 with the IUP. Karpro said you could and was right! Two weeks later I had a build date!

TMS ROCKS! B)

For any anyone interested Mullinax Ford is in Amherst, Ohio and the saleman is Jeff Wells (call toll-free1-800-GET-FORD). I personally don't know him but he offers no BS, and has called me twice at home with updates this week. They are honoring a,x,d and z plan. My car was ordered and accepted by Ford. I am at least c/u now. One less hurdle to jump. Now if only Ford could be as efficient as Mullinax. They are pretty confident it'll be delivered end of May/early June. Works for me.....Please use my name if you call him, I gave him a heads up that I was posting his name and number on this site. That way he knows where you got his name from. Maybe I'll get a free oil change out of the deal!
