I'm having second thoughts about the Tungsten color I ordered. I don't like Satin Silver. I really wish Mineral was still available. How close is SS to Tungsten. I may be switching colors, not sure yet. Starting to like Windveil. Oh gosh, this is driving me crazy. I sure wish I could see what this color is going to look like. The pictures Amy took are worrying me. :bang:

Tungsten will be a great looking color. Colors like that contrast well with the tailights and turn signals up front. I'm a mineral grey owner and I love it, but tungsten's its replacement so its as close as you can get with the '06 models. You also have alot to work with in terms of additions considering alot of parts are silver!

I'm on the other side... I originally ordered Mineral Grey... and went home that night and thought about it... and came back the next day and changed to Satin Silver. I have NO regrets... I was looking for that nice color... but more subdued... my last STang, (99 Cobra) was bright red... I got WAY too much attention... sides.. I figure I don't wanna repeat a color...

Go Lime!
Just kidding. Get what you feel is the coolest. Tungsten not only looks but sounds cool. Seriously you can't go wrong. Every single stang I've seen in the 2005+ series looks cool.
Although I did see someone with some kind of weird purple custom job around here that I wasn't too fond of. To each his/her own though.
Kind of was stunned that someone would buy a beautiful car and then right off the bat spend 3-5K getting a paint job. I MIGHT consider it if I had to have some bodywork done and needed a lot of repainting anyways. But again to each/own.
Good luck. Whatever you choose you WILL love the car.

Windveil is awsome...but not for everyone.
Tungsten looks wicked..and is WAY darker than Satin.
Satin is a light! silver... couple shadesl lighter than most Silver Metallics.
Tungsten almost looks like a lighter shadow gray.
If they had it in 05, I would have had it.

No way I'd order any color without seeing it in person. The pictures I've seen of tungsten look great, but photos can be very deceiving. I'd want to see it before pulling the trigger.

SS is pretty damned good at hiding the everyday dirt. I am amazed how clean it looks after I take it out for a spin after washing... then I wipe it down, and find all the dirt on the rear that I couldn't even see...
