I need install tips for installing Shorty Headers

I am going to install my Mac shorty headers, and I need some tips. Should I use the old bolts or the new ones that the Mac headers came with? I know I have to unbolt the cat and the headers from the engine. Do the headers just slide out? How does the O2 sensor come out?

-Thanks

I used the new bolts, Unplug the o2's then take the H pipe off then disconnect your steering mark it first on both pieces. Then the stock ones slide out and the new ones slide in. I left one of the top factory bolts in so I could hang my new ones. Hope this helps

Thanks, I'm having trouble on unbolting the top bolt on the passenger side cat. Any tips on getting this one off? I can't get enough torque on it...

There's an full article (with color pictures) on this exact subject in the January issue of Mustang Monthly magazine. Take a look - it might help.

I used a spark plug ratchet , make sure when tightening them back up go equal amounts on each side so you get a good seal.
