I am trying to picture what a Windveil Blue Mustang with the MRT Rear Window Louver would look like. In your opinion would it look good? And what about the Qtr Window Louvers. Should they be black or painted to match the color of the car? I think that if the Rear Louvers are black than the Qtr Louvers should be black also. But in the 65-66 Mustang Fastbacks the Vents were painted to match the car.

I am still trying to decide on a color for an 06 and I am going over different color combiations and what would look good with louvers.

all i can say is... do it the way YOU think it should be...what you like and makes you happy...

 

if it came in black anyway you could put them on and then decide if you want to paint them. I would paint the side louvers body color and leave the rear ones black.

 

I have a WB and was also thinkign about this mod. I think the rear one would look good black.

 

My $.02, The side ones look great body color, they look too "tacked on" if they are left black. The rear slats have always looked sweet in satin black. Remember that satin black Mach 1 spoiler on the 03-04 cars? It really stands out on a light color car and . Satin black might dress up the rear of the car a little.

 

I hope to get a call from the body shop tomorrow saying my 1/4 window louvers are ready. I'll post a pic as soon as they're on.
