I love my S197 because....

i often find myself staring at my car... its amazing to think it was 40 years in the making. the mustang is an american icon, i am fortunate enough to own 2 of them.. i love the styling, all of the retro lines and subtle curves that were found to be major styling cues in the 60's. all the lines in the dash... the smooth textures and mixture of surfaces and colors just blow my mind. i know this car isnt the fastest on the road, or the most radical looking, but i love it. ford made one hell of a car, and has been lucky enough to keep doing so for so many years. im thankful the stang has survived so long and im sure there are many years of new ideas and radical changes for the stang to come. man i love this car. long live the MUSTANG!!!

lets hear why you love yours....

It's fast, looks and sounds great, and it's not perceived to be as pretentious as a BMW (I do like bimmers, btw). Plus the aftermarket is so extensive with so many ways to make your car better. It's like real-life Gran Turismo! (Plus realistic crash damage!)

I found myself doing just this Saturday at the carwash, staring at what I had gotten myself into back in October of 2005. I have had many cars since I was 16, but this by far has them all beat. I still to this day get people staring, waving, grinning ear to ear, wait a minute that was me!

I've wanted a Mustang since I can remember. I still remember when I was 2, sitting in my mom's baby blue 79 notchback ghia with the 5.0 and an auto. Had white vinyl interior as well.

Lol i remember in 93 i turned 4 years old and my mom got me this little blue 1964 mustang it was like a diecast model. Ever since then i wanted one of my own but hated the body styles they had until the 05's came out.

Well being 60 years young this is an affordable fun car. You can mod the heck out of it and have something totally unique that handles well and is fast for under $40K.

I love the looks I get when people pull up next to me and see an old fart behind the wheel.

It is affordable! I'm 24 and saved up $9K for the down payment, just so I could have more mod money each month

whenever i'm at my friend's house, his neighbor is always out admiring my stang. it's crazy, haha.

i really wish everyone had a stang to enjoy. the world would be so happy. haha.
