This is the car that pulled me over from the "dark side" (GM). Sure there have been some pretty sad Mustangs over the years but no manufacturer, domestic or foreign has ever produced a car with so much character and staying power. Regardless of some bad years for Mustang, Mustang has been the survivor when all of it's competitors bit the dust. No manufacturer has ever built a car with so much performance and style for this price. I have always liked Mustangs, even when I was a GM man. This s197 has the best bang for your buck ever and it's left the other manufacturers scratching their heads how to compete. I've had my '05 over a year and a half now and every time I turn the key it's like the first time I fired her up on the dealer's lot. I get compliments on the car all the time. If something happened to my Mustang would I buy another? ASBOLUTELY! This is a car that one can drive with pride. Designed and built in America Mustang is a true classic!

To add on to my original post at the beginning of the topic I will say that since I was in sixth grade I wanted a sports car. As I got older, I had some years that were tough on me. Now up until this point I had always liked Stangs, but the odler ones. The current SN95s were nice, but I couldn't see myself owning one. Enter S197......the first words out of my mouth when first seeing the production version were "Holy SH*T!!!! That car looks amazing!!!!!!!!"
Anyway things at that time had turned around for the best and I decided to reward myself for putting up with a bunch of crap and acheive my sports car dream.
Although I do baby it too much and don't drive it as often as I should, I love this car. I am STILL, after a year and a half, amazed to see it in the garage everyday.
Lets put it this way. I like the S197 so much I'm seriously considering buying my baby a 2005 or 2006 Vista Blue GT big brother! Or I'll just save for the Viper I always wanted. Not sure which yet.

your new set-up gives your Stang.
I've got the Pro Kit, but haven't upgraded to the D-Specs yet.

Your RED stang is beautiful! wow! you know that stock spoiler is starting to grow on me and i think im gonna just keep it. it adds to that RETRO muscle car look even more. Not to mention saves time/hassle/$ to replace to another spoiler.
the stance of your car is perfect! i love the contrast of your wheel color with the red car. are you keeping the stock 17's or going bigger?
i tell you....i drove about 30 miles on the eibach/d-spec with my 20's and it didnt feel harsh at all. my BMW M3 felt way more harsh on 18's and lowered suspension. the d-spec's adjust so easily even a goofball like me can do it!
thanks again for the I LOVE MY MUSTANG post!! keep them coming!!
