Mustang is an emotional car.
Driving down the road makes me feel great.
In the twisties my adrenaline spikes.
Accelarating on the interstate, WOW!
Might I add, top down driving, and people wave, honk, and stare.
I just looked forward to cleaning it, to make it look great again after the snow.
This car is fun.

totally agreed! pure emotion and heritage....
i was awed by it when i was a kid with the '67 and '69 stangs...never had a chance to get the 5.0 back in 1988-89 time frame....when i was graduating high school...
then i was hit by the euro car bug....went benz/bimmer/audi for the past 15+ years..and now the S197 brought me back!!!!
this was the car i was waiting for!!

I absolutly love my new Mustang GT CS.
Best car I ever owned. I cant keep away from the drag strip or autocross. And it is very capable at both.
And chicks love the Vista Blue. And the seats.
Pound for pound the best value for a rear wheel drive muscle car.
A duffer like me can run 13.928 in the quarter at 101 mph. Everything about the car makes me smile.

I've had a bunch of Stangs starting at age 18 with a '65, then a couple of '66s, an 87GT, an '02 GT, and finally the king of 'em all, my 2006 Torch Red GT.
I've got a 160 mile round-trip commute 5 days a week, getting on the road at 4am. And this car is what drags me out of bed. Most of my early morning run is along the big, sweeping mountain curves of HWY 152 out here in California. It's a great way to start the day... a frickin' blast.
And people never seem to grow tired of it. I see more dropped jaws, smiles, and thumbs up from all age groups... men and women.

Mine's in the body shop for Shelby parts and paint. It's been there a week. I miss her badly!
I can barely sleep knowing it's not in my driveway right now. I have my pictures to fall back on tho:

I love my mustang. I get goosebumps everytime I take it out on the highway and let her loose. The day that I bought it had to be one of the happiest days of my life.
