Nothing wrong with wanting a V6,
Get in touch with the "specialty" car companies like Saleen because they take the old grille off and just want to get rid of it. You should be able to get it for a good price from them.
Otherwise, check ebay in a few months, the local parts dept. will probably charge a bit for the grille.

if you just swapped grilles then they wouldn't work obviously.
You need to get the GT-style headlight switch and wire up the fogs properly to get them to work. Since it is a factory installation I doubt there will be any/many hang-ups

Dannygat wasnt disrespecting the guy, i think he just has one of those sense of humor things...
and i think threats (what you made) are slightly more malicious than jokes (what he made)
uh-oh i better say something about the thread topic so grantsdale doesnt leave nasty notes on every single one of my posts
So yea, maybe Ford will sell V6 fog lamp kits later

He's done it before.

definatly send it back and grow some ***** and get a GT

I don't find humor in it. He is trying to put forward the notion that v6s aren't any good. That is incorrect. There is no reason for him to always comment about GTs being better when its not helping the thread. He can keep his opinion, and use it when warranted. He just always puts down v6s because it makes his e-***** bigger I guess.

I didn't take Grantsdale's reply as a threat. The V6 is a very nice automobile and it wouldn't make sense to spend $5k on fog lamps if thats all you wanted.

At one point, someone here had bought a GT and wanted to swap grilles with a V6 owner. I don't don't if he ever had a taker or not but he was willing to swap everything, including the wiring and the switch. Wish I could remember who it was. Try searching "V6 grille swap". Maybe you'll find him.

SVTF smokes the Civic Si wedge anyway. And a V6 mustang will pretty much edge out the SVTF under 80mph, especially off the line.
