ColoradoStang, can you tell if the "L" shaped section surrounding the rear armrest is a separate piece, or if it's a molded part of the rear panel? I've been wondering if it would be possible to replace it with a dark charcoal piece to match the front door insert.

But why remove the horse when they could just tint around it?
I think it would make it stand out more!
I was just curious. Besides I don't want to tint the windshield. I want to have something put across the top of the windshield where that horse is. ANd didn't want the ***** visable from behind it. Thanks guys.

Again: Sweet ride. I even like the interior/exterior combo.

Justin, I was there when you took delivery of your new GT... It looks awesome. I also love how Phil long kept telling me that they weren't getting any 05's until november... I got in many arguments with them over that one until I was finally proven right. They also have a windveil blue Gt st there prep center . Looks better than I thought it would. But either way congrats on your GT.
Thanks! I didn't think I was actually going to BUY it, I just wanted to go take pictures of it!!

This is what it looks like. The back end of the arm rest looks removable, but the rest is all one piece.

I took a pic:

I sat in a 05 GT yesterday at a dealer here in the Dallas area. It was black with charcoal leather inside and interier upgrade. IT LOOKS GREAT. Ther is nothing cheap about it. The same dealer also had an 04
G35 coupe. The 05 Mustang GT has a nicer interier. Go compare for yourself. The G35 runs about 35K.

That interior colour looks terrific with the black exterior. Do you have a clearer pic of the whole interior? I've seen good interior shots already but almost every one of them has been of that godawful red colour.

The armrests he's talking about are below the quarter-panel window...I think they're seperate pieces but I never took a close look at 'em...

By the way...that is one wicked color combo

No, though it's still nice to have that view; haven't seen a pic of the back of the console before. I appreciate your checking this out for me.

I'm talking about the red bit in the back by the armrest in the old preproduction photo below. I don't think Ford ever made any cars this way, but if they were thinking about it, it might be a separate piece.

I was up till about 1. There is a club called "Speed Freaks" that meets on Saturday nights. I am kind of dissappointed though, because some dude with a 2003 Stang kicked my hiney! All he did for mods was a cold air induction. Is this enough to take a new stang? I thought I drove pretty well...but I guess I must really stink huh???

It looks like it is removable. I wonder why mine aren't dark charcoal as the inside of the doors are accented with this color....

Here is a close up pic:

The horse is on the front windshield behind the rearview mirror.....I think its kind of crappy, I usually have the top 7 inches of the front windshield tinted, but it looks like I wont be doing that on the 05 because of the dot-matrix

Thanks again for checking on this!

Ford seems to have changed their minds about this quite early on. The ICAP picture above was replaced by one where the rear piece was dark charcoal instead of red, and that's how all the production cars have been, as far as I know.

Oops, meant to say:

Like all Fords, the accessory outlet is NOT switched. It is on all the time.

Beautiful score, Justin!
Now, how about the Shaker 1000's performance? And how much space remains in the trunk with the subwoofer cabinet off to one side?

Shaker sounds really nice!! There is tons of space, it doesn't take up much at all.
