An update on the Phil Long Ford mustangs...the Mineral Grey is sold, but there is a Torch Red one in the showroom. It was AWESOME...I'm so happy with the choice I made. Now if mine would just get here...

Ok guys, I have a quick question. And be gentle since I have little knowledge of customizing a car in any way. I understand that the windows have that dot-matrix stuff & I understand what it is, sort of. My question is this: can it be removed?
If not then can the pony in the middle of the windshield be removed anyway or is it just a permanent fixture on the car weither I like it or not?
Thanks.
BTW: Sweet ride dude. Congrats.

I'm sure if you take it to LoDo, that crowd is surely going to go nuts!! Do it for those that can't be there until Spring!! (although I will have mine in a couple of weeks)
That's the thing I miss about Colorado. LoDo!
Phoenix does not have that ambience. I loved going to LoDo, parking my car, knowing it would be there when I got back. Here......ha ha......it's a crap shoot.
Car is there one minute, the next it's in some apartment complex in Mesa.....don't get me started!
CONGRATS ON THE CAR!

Why would you leave the cellphone plugged in when your not in your car?
With my '00, I had a radar detector plugged into one outlet, the cell phone into another. Could I possibly remember to turn off the detector every time I left the car? Of course not. It was soon obvious it was killing the battery. But I didn't suspect the cell phone could drain the battery until I couldn't think of any other reason the battery was dying.
Let's put it this way: Why would you want an accessory to run when the car is switched off? If you want it to run, switch on the ignition.
I've never had another car whose accessory outlets were not switched. Ford wil catch up eventually, just like they finally realized that the A/C switch should be independent of the airflow setting.

I was contacted yesterday by a lady salesperson from Planet Ford in Houston. She told me that she had a 05 GT with all the options and upgrades available. Asked if I wanted to make an appt to see it. Asked her the sticker...$34,000. Told her to have a nice day!!! :notnice:

Justin, I was there when you took delivery of your new GT... It looks awesome. I also love how Phil long kept telling me that they weren't getting any 05's until november... I got in many arguments with them over that one until I was finally proven right. They also have a windveil blue Gt st there prep center . Looks better than I thought it would. But either way congrats on your GT.
