Yep, Mitchell it is.
I don't know about you, but I've never had an insurance company ask me if I've ever submitted a claim to my past Insurance company???? Doesn't sound likely. A comp claim will not increase your insurance rates.

Wow good to see the law enforcement over there is worth what you guys pay for it. it is too bad people that do stuff like this arent shot in public. Critics claim capitol punishment doesnt deter crime....who cares, get rid of the garbage people and there wont be repeat offenders. I hope you get this fixed as pain free as possible and may the POS people who did it get what is coming to them.

No, a comp claim won't increase rates. But, a lot of companies are looking at the number, not dollar amount, of recent claims filed when binding new policies. Home owners companies have been doing this for a while, and auto carriers are beginning to do the same. I just recently checked around on rates, 3 of the 5 I checked asked if there have been any recent claims filed at all, comp or coll. Might have something to do with being down here in FL and with all the recent hurricanes. (It's been a busy year for us claim guys.)

You might be right in Fl, but I've never had any auto insurance companies ask about past claims, and I've had quiet a few. Maybe they're about to start.

I'd like to chase them down with a 44 Magnum. "I know what your thinking, did he fire six shots or only five. Well since this is a 44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and it would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself a question. Do I feel lucky. Well do ya punk? Bang!

Everyone sounds tuff, but I don't think anyone trade a life for a car. Right? I mean it's just a car right?

yeah I think if i cought them I'd be in jail for murder. When it comes to the scumballs of the earth..IMO about 85% of the population (Present board excluded of course I'm of the thoughts that the world needs a good house cleaning and this doesn't change my tone much.

I'm sorry abuot your car man. I'd be fuming too. I hope it all pans out!

Sorry about your troubles there. I feel for you. It kind of looks like someone has a V6 and took everything needed to make their's look like a GT, except for the mirror glass. The whole mirror apparatus costs in the $220 range. Best of luck to you!

Regarding law enforcement...Mexico is a little different than the States. I was there once and was on a bus. The bus got pulled over for speeding. The driver handed the cop a $10 bill, and away we go. Just blatant payoffs.

Sorry this happened to you. This sort of thing is why I am afraid to take my GT to work. At work I have to park in a two-level garage with minimal security and no CCTV. So I take my truck to work and leave the GT in its locked garage at home  .

Man that stinks. I have heard of the center caps of rims taken before but a grill and mirrors. That blows.
