It's funny that every publication--automotive or otherwise--can't stop praising the styling of the 2005 Mustang, especially after the disaster the GTO has been with it's non-retro styling. The only people that don't like it are these idiot Camaro fans, who bought a car that GM must think won't sell as well as these:

LOL well what can you expect after loosing the beloved V8 Geo storm and getting a new Cobalt to replace it. They're just a LITTLE bitter.

Speaking of Geo Storms- back in my day, teen girls would have killed for a nice green one(not me).
I actually agree with the first few posts about the foglights in the grille, the bland dash, the small tires, and less than inspiring available wheels. I think there could have been improvements in these areas, but no car is perfect and I'm still looking forward to the one I have on the way. At least the wheel/tire issue will eventually have countless aftermarket options.
I don't think think anbody on either forum will disagree that the new Mustang should be light years ahead of the quality in the previous F-fbodies and SN95's.
There maybe even some studenvy in some of the posts.

I've noticed a lot of people like the mustang who are not mustang owners or big fans of it. I myself am not a camaro or mustang fan (except for the 60s era) but I do have to say that the last generation of F-bodies was kind of meh, the body style on the pre-05 mustang was looking better than the 90's, but the 05 just captured me. This coming from a guy who has never owned a mustang but just loved the old iron. For me the new Vettes and Mustangs rock. All my friends who own muscle cars as toys, really like the 05. Just my 2 cents.

. We all know that if the new Stang God Forbid was the new Camaro or Firebird they would be all over it like a fat kid on cake
