Congrats on the car. Sucks about the bumper.

how many hours did you have it before you did that?

I had mine 4 hours before someone backed into it. Luckily for me it wasn't hard enough to need a replacement, just a mark on the bumper. It's still there. I just kept the insurance money.

Which song/album? I played "Don't Look Back" as the first song in mine. Sorry to hear about the bumper.

I don't remember the album off hand, the song? Peace of Mind of course!

I feel alot better after talking with TakeoffStang this after noon, he is going to send me a new Vista bumper and my body shop told me they can get it done as soon as it gets here, also driving my sweet new GT for a few hours today helped. I put some touch up paint on the bad spots and took her out for a cruise with my brothers. The first thing my 17 yr old brother said was "man this car is bad ***". When we came back my 7 yr old brother came in and screamed at the top of his lungs "That car is Awesome!" Ahh life with a Mustang, you can't beat it.

Hey Tom:
Congrats and sorry at the same time.
Man, it seems there is truly a new car curse.
Let me tell you a funny story about my wife's car: One day, we decide to go canoeing in Florida. We park the car (hers was a brand new Mazda 6s, same plant as my Mustang and by the time we got back, some stupid peacock had knocked on the car all around. The car is charcoal and apparently, this stupid animal has this thing of poking on any reflective material. Plenty of stratches... Nice job. I could have strangled the bird I'm now thinking of swapping my turkey for a peacock comes next Thanksgiving
Luckily, it was not the Mustang.

Car looks good, Tom.

Fanblades rule.

I'm still a big fan of the clean look with just a few subtle enhancements >> tires, exhaust...a few under-the-hood and/or suspension upgrades.

Oh, yeah, and on occasion, custom interiors - but only when forced into it.

Yeah I just feel really stupid, especially since I just got it. Still if it happened 6 months from now I don't think I would feel any different. Yeah I am having a blast with it. I am convinced that Fords from Yocum are just better Thanks again Jeff.

Well, that sure would suck. I am sure that cost quite a bit to repair as well. I can agree with the peacock dinner but I wonder does it go well with stuffing?

Problem is so am I, I loved my stripes on my past stang but when I look at this car it just looks so clean and awesome. You know I had a couple of people check it out at work and they all asked me if I got a different color blue. Which of course I did not, their reply was "well I guess it just looks better on a GT" Though I think it was the wheels, they really look great (when clean). I am so glad I decided to pay the extra for them and my Premier Trim package, which looks great with my charcoal dash, can't wait to see yours.

Yeah, but it always sucks when it's you. Still at least I am getting it fixed I see so many stangs with body damage just riding around month after month, I don't know how they can stand it. I am having trouble waiting a few days.

They either can't afford it or aren't "true" enthusiasts. Your stang is lucky, it has a true enthusiast for an owner!

She sure does, washed and waxed all day yesterday (except the rear bumper of course). Got my engine cover on, my pony tire stem caps, and my Midwest mirror covers on (I think they look correct, though drivers side fits different then passengers ) short antena is next after the wax comes off, pics to follow!

Here we go Mirror covers, stem caps, engine cover (working on getting pics did not want finger prints on the hood ) and short antenna. Like I said the mirror covers fit differently on each mirror, the passengers fit best with a small gap at the bottom and the drivers side with on at the top, still it looks good to me (I am never happy with my own work )

Looking good! I wasn't big on the fanblades before but they're growing on me for sure.
