I'm so used to calling "the number" I decided to call it just for the heck of it and see if maybe it would tell me any other dates.
"As of February 3rd, your unit is scheduled to be built week of..." (I started to hang up since I already knew my build week was the 28th) "...February 21st"
I got bumped UP a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How about a one nanner for that?
Karpro, can you confirm the change the next time you're at work? (Saturday/Monday)
Hey doesn't Jeff work on Saturdays? Think he'd know how to check it?

I'll be at work tomorrow and check it for you. I figured I'd pull a few strings and get you moved up a little (ok so maybe thats a little bit of an exaggeration). That's good news though, I'll try to confirm in the AM.

Once I got a a VIN, I asked if he knew my build week yet.
He PM's me back...
JUNE!
Of course the next PM told me he was just joking and when he expected it.
My response to him was simply
"Just what I need. A salesman with a sense of humor.
HEADLINE: 33 y/o Male Dies of Heart Attack Waiting For New Car."
Sure, I can laugh about it now, but that was the closest I'd come to canceling my order. And believe me, there were times when I was REAL close.
He PM's me back...
